How to get there

The Nashville International Airport has all you need to start your trip off just right. There are plenty of places to eat, shops to stop and browse in and business and banking services for any of your particular needs. How to get around city

To get back and forth from the airport there is commuter bus service that will take you to and from the airport to several destinations as well as the centre of Nashville. A lot of the hotels have shuttles available, too, so be sure to ask if your hotel is one of them. If you want a private shuttle contact Anytime-Transport Shuttle Service 615-217-7433. The Chatanooga Coach goes to from the airport to Chattannooga about seven times a day. There is also a local MTA bus service - Route 18 - to downtown Nashville which goes about nine times a day, but less on Sunday - cost is only a couple of dollars.

Weather

Just be sure to pack a lot of warmer weather gear, such as swimsuits, shorts and light blouses in the summer months. You may also wish to bring some slacks in the fall, winter and spring months. The weather will most likely be a little cooler and you’ll want to be prepared. With at least two comfortable pairs of shoes along you’ll be prepared for days of sightseeing, which you’ll be doing plenty of.
